Vónin Super Height can be towed both on the seabed and higher in the water

The Super Height is a  flexible semi-pelagic trawl that can be used in a large variety of fisheries. This semi pelagic trawl design has returned some spectacular results on Cod, Haddock, Saithe, Squid as well as Argentine which it was originally designed for.

When the fish lift of the bottom

The Super Height trawl is at its most effective on demersal species when they lift off the bottom at certain times of the day or during particular seasons, because it covers a much larger area than a conventional bottom trawl.

The Super Height is also designed for low drag and to skim the bottom or even to lift right off if necessary — a highly effective fishing tool that allows for quick and efficient catches.

Pair-trawling and with trawl doors

The trawl is well proven in pair-trawling and it is also possible to use your standard trawl doors for the Super Height trawl, either if they are bottom or pelagic trawl doors.
