When targeting Flatfish you don’t need a high vertical opening. Instead, you need horizontal opening to cover as much ground as possible. This is just what the Vónin Flatfish trawl offers. A long footrope with good spread and a low headline height, make it suitable for flatfish.

Crucial bottom contact

The Vónin Flatfish is designed to constantly seek downwards so you get the best possible bottom contact, which is crucial when targeting flatfish. When fishing for flatfish you will get some by-catch of roundfish. For this, we have a sorting grid option to select out roundfish. If you only want to filter out the smaller roundfish, we also have a solution for this.
