“The development of trawl doors has been interesting the last couple of years. Most of the time it starts with a sales team. With the Storm doors the process was the other way around – we were asked what we needed and our reply to Vónin’s designers was clear. We wanted a trawl door for all areas and depths, for both soft and hard ground, which would spread efficiently in shallow water and would be easy to shoot in difficult conditions. And it had to be strong.”
