New Design

Vónin 2024 and Vónin 2025 shrimp trawls are designed with simplicity and efficiency in mind. The simplified construction make the trawls easy to maintain, reducing downtime and total operating costs. The differences between the two trawls are in the cutting and the wings. The Vónin 2024 has one top wing and a brest line. Vónin 2025 has three wings and a different cutting.

Greater height and wider fishing width

These shrimp trawls are wider in the middle section, giving it increased internal volume and greater overall height. The design provides a larger effective fishing width and improved shrimp guidance into the trawl.

Lower fuel consumption and reduced wear

Thanks to its balanced geometry, the Vónin 2024 and 2025 are expected to be easier to tow, requiring less towing force and therefore reducing fuel consumption per kilo of caught shrimp. The design also reduces wear on the under‑net, extending the service life of the trawls. The combination of efficient fishing performance, low wear, and reduced fuel use make these trawls a cost‑effective choice for modern shrimp trawling operations.
