The faroese pelagic trawler Tróndur í Gøtu has made a great trip trawling for Blue Whiting south of the Faroe Islands

Faroese pelagic trawler Tróndur í Gøtu caught 2700 tonnes in only 6 tows using the 2600 metres Vónin Gannet pelagic trawl together with a set of 12m² Vónin Twister trawl doors. The 2600 trawl has an impressive opening, and it works perfectly together with the Twister trawl doors.

They had absolutely no problem in getting a full spread on the trawl. The new Twister trawl doors have already proven that they have a much higher spreading force than previous designs.
