As part of the Danfish Exhibition in Ålborg, Vónin invites you to a fishing gear seminar at Aalborg Kongres & Kultur Center Thursday the 14th of October, which is at the same venue as the Danfish exhibition. The event is intended for ship owners, fleet managers, skippers, trawl masters, fishermen in generel and other people employed by fishing companies.

In 2020 Vónin introduced the new Zenith bottom trawl. Comprehensive trials where conducted with a pair trawling team and the results showed that the Zenith trawl outperformed the conventional trawl by more than 10%.
Royal Greenland’s new shrimp trawler Avataq was delivered in 2019. This was the first triple-rigger in Greenland. How did they deal with the challenges of rigging Avataq with three trawls for hard grounds where nobody had done it before?

Vónin has extensive experience in manufacturing pelagic trawls for a variety of species – from multi-purpose pelagic trawls to trawls designed for specific species. We will review Vónin’s range of pelagic trawls.
The new Twister trawl doors have already proved that they surpass previous designs. They are prepared for an active control system that will make these the first ever smart doors.
