The top three and their times this year were :

Karl Jakob Ósa Eliasen - 3.02.27
Jan Højgaard - 3.12.39
Petur Henry Christiansen - 3.21.50

Vessels with the highest tonnage and value in their catch this past year were also rewarded. Vessels ranged from small long liners up to the pair-trawlers. The vessels "Vestmenningur" and "Fram" won the award for highest tonnage for pair-trawlers and "Stjørnan" and "Polarhav" were awarded for the most valued catch for pair-trawlers. The inshore trawler "Jens Leon" won the award with highest tonnage and most valued catch in their category. All these vessels are using trawls from Vónin.

Two world records were also announced at the Fishermen's day. The world biggest hook was presented as a statue. It is 6 metres high and is placed by the road entrance to Klaksvík. The row boat "Artemis" was also brought to Klaksvík for the event. "Artemis" is a small boat which two Scottish, one Irish and one Faroese man rowed across the Atlantic Ocean. They left New York on the 17th of June and arrived in the Scilly Islands only 44 days later and were approved in the Guiness book of records.
