Line-Thrower - an outstanding tool
Ever since the introduction of the Line Thrower L-75 in 2006 we have seen a steady demand for this outstanding tool, and two Line Throwers have just been ordered to Iceland.
At first the Line Thrower L-75 was aimed at the pair trawling industry. However, other vessels such as ferries, offshore vessels, cargo vessels and tankers have also seen it as the perfect solution to simplify the task of line throwing.
As the Line Thrower L-75 is operating with an air pressure of merely 10 bars, it is very safe to handle. The L-75 can throw a line up to 100 meters and is the first of its kind where the user is able to regulate the shot distance with the trigger. The Line Thrower consists of plastic and stainless steel, which makes the product perfect in the rough enviroment at sea.
Feedback from the vessels also conclude that it is an outstanding tool. Skippers say that it is very easy to operate and it gets the line across easily. Skippers especially highlight that being able to avoid close operation with another vessel at sea, will reduce the risk for vessels to bump into each other and save the company time and costs in terms of repairing damage on vessels.
