In July Discovery Channel will start broadcasting a new documentary called ´Mighty Ships". The documentary will also be broadcasted internationally in the fall. One of the episodes is recorded on board the Greenlandic shrimp trawler 'Akamalik', which uses Vónin 2007 shrimp trawls, Vónin 2007 shrimp grids and Vónin codends.

Vónin has assisted the crew from Discovery Channel with making animations of the trawl gear in action.

'Akamalik' was in Tórshavn in the middle of June to pick up their new trawls together with grids, codends and a new pair of Injector Cobra trawl doors, and the feedback from the skipper has been very good with good results.
